How long does a dental clean and check up take?
After we’ve performed our *hilarious* opening monologue – 1 hour. we’re not here to do a two-minute polish and call it a day. We take the time to properly assess, clean thoroughly, and explain what’s going on (in plain English).
How much does a dental check up and clean cost?
$295 for new patients. You’ll get a thorough assessment, a proper clean, and a clear plan (or the best news ever: nothing to do). Most health funds completely cover this gap, so take that as your sign to go and buy those new shoes after your appointment.
How often should I book a teeth cleaning?
Most people do best with a teeth cleaning every 6 months, but if you’ve got gum inflammation, lots of build-up, braces/aligners, or you’re prone to sensitivity, you might need them more often. We’ll recommend what you need, not what boosts our ego.
Does teeth cleaning hurt?
For most people, teeth cleaning feels more weirdly satisfying than painful — water, a bit of vibration, and that “I can’t stop licking my teeth” clean.And if you’re sensitive or anxious, we’ve got you: we use EMS AIRFLOW® technology, which is a gentle way to lift plaque and surface stains using a controlled mix of air + water + fine powder (less scraping, more smooth sailing)

Will I need X-rays?
Yes, X-rays are part of our $295 new patient appointment.They help us build a baseline and see what we can’t see with just a mirror (hello, sneaky cavities). It’s the fastest way to get clarity and a plan you can feel confident about.Included in the cost = no surprises, no awkward “oh by the way…” at the end. The only time we won’t take new X-rays is if you’ve had them done in the last 3 months and we can get the records from your previous dentist. If that’s you, we’ll happily use those instead.
